The most important thing in life
you will ever know; you will ever do.

Just One Thing

If there was only one thing I could tell you, it would be this...

To all who wander here,

The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

Jeremiah 31:3

There is just one thing I want you to know: I care about you very much (trust me, it's not always been this way for me). And when I think of the fact that "who you are is irreplaceable; it's a great big world, yeah, but don’t you know, on this third rock from the sun, there's only one crazy beautiful you" (Crazy Beautiful You, L. Crawford), it kills me to think that once you’re gone, that's it: there will never be another you.

And so I humbly ask you to consider the price that Christ Jesus paid for your sins. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Jesus considers you, for whom he laid down his life, to be his friend. And all it takes is for you to believe that he died for you, was buried, and was in fact raised from the dead the third day to take away your sins. If you believe that, then simply repent (turn away from your sins) and pray, asking Jesus to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart and save your soul:

Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner, but I know that you are the Saviour who died for me and rose again from the dead to take my sins away.

I now ask you to forgive me of my sins and come into my heart and save my soul.

From this moment on, I choose to follow you as my Saviour and Lord; as my God and Friend.

In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

This way, if anything happens to me or you, we can rest and be at peace knowing that we will get to see each other again in Heaven one day, ere our paths meet again.

– Matt

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
